1. FI isn’t about quitting our jobs.  It’s about having the choice to work, or not.  It’s about doing meaningful things and making the most of our time on this Earth.

2. FI isn’t about becoming financially independent as soon as possible.  It’s about balancing happiness today while striving to create a brighter tomorrow.

3. FI isn’t about comparing our FI date to other people’s FI date.  It’s about comparing our lives today to our lives yesterday. It’s about never-ending improvement.
