At Camp FIRE Finance, we are looking for contributors who write high-quality personal finance articles that are exclusive to this site. For example, article topics might include things like:
- Personal narratives about the journey to FI or FIRE
- Investing in the markets, real estate, or alternative investments
- Frugal living
- Simple living/minimalism
- House hacking & credit card hacking
- Retirement planning
- Draw down strategies
- Debt payoff

To join our growing list of Camp FIRE Finance Contributors:
- Sign up for an account here. (You do not need to create a directory listing.)
- Email us at info@campfirefinance.us2.cdn-alpha.com from the address you signed up with. Let us know you’ve signed up as a contributor and that you agree to our Terms of Service.
We’ll reply as soon as you’re good to go, and then you’ll be able to login and start writing.
Once you are approved:
- Sign in with your username and password.
- Fill out your bio so it will appear beneath your posts. To do so, log in and click Profile. Select the name you want to appear as the author in the “Display name publicly as” section. Then scroll to the About Yourself section and fill in the Biographical info field. Finally, click Update Profile to save your changes.
- Make sure you have permission to use any images you include on this site
- Before uploading an image to your post, make sure it is no more than 1280 pixels wide at a 72 dpi resolution. If you need to resize it, you can use any image editor to do this, but a good free web-based one is Pixlr. Save it at medium quality. If the image is already 1280 pixels or less wide, use Squoosh to reduce the quality of the image to between 70-85. Smaller images help to keep the site running better.
- Write your article. Ideally articles should be 1000 words or longer. They must be original to our site, use American or British English, have proper grammar & spelling, be non-spammy, follow our Terms of Service, and not be written primarily to market yourself or products.
- When you are done writing your post, click the Submit for Review button to move it to the pending folder. We’ll review & publish it if everything’s A-ok, or email you if there are any issues.
