I'm currently a single, middle age, woman on this path to financial independence. However, I'd welcome for the single part to change at any time. ;-)

On December 29, 2017, I finished digging my way out of debt and began my journey as an investor. Prior to that, I got sober from drug addiction/alcoholism in late 2009/early 2010. That was really the genesis to my transformation.

Today I teach women in recovery about financial literacy. Furthermore, I blog about my journey and tips I'm learning along the way. Accountability is the key all the way around.

I am a late gamer to this Financial Independence movement. I paid off all my debt at the end of 2017 and started on my wealth building journey at the age of 45. The real genesis for my transformation began when I got sober back in late 2009/early 2010. My story is full of redemption and I hope to inspire others to know that it's never too late!
